Aliki

Distance: 4 km

Aliki is a picturesque fishing village, located at the southernmost point of Paros. It is suitable for quiet and quality holidays. The bay of Aliki is sheltered from the wind and is an ideal proposition for small bathers as well! Other beaches in the area are Piso Aliki (pebble beach) and Faragas which develops in four idyllic coves.
After swimming, a stop for food is necessary: there are many options for good fish, traditional dishes and fish appetizers, in one of the tavernas of Aliki. Here you will also find interesting bars for your drink while, if you have arrived with the family, you can also look for a playground or one of the sports areas in the area.
A notable local attraction is the Benetou Skiadas Museum of Cycladic Folklore, while it is useful to know that Paros airport is also nearby. As for your place of residence, it is only 4 km away!

Punda Paros

Distance: 2 km

Paros offers fantastic opportunities for water sports for all tastes and levels, from the beginner to the very advanced. The island is a world-class destination for windsurfing! The visitor can also try other water sports such as kitesurfing or simply enjoy the Aegean Sea at its best! A destination, we recommend, to enjoy the wonderful sea of ​​Paros and water sports is (West) Punda which is located just 2 km from Calmea Seafront Escape.
Here you will even have the possibility to get some windsurfing or equipment for kite surfing and enjoy your swimming at a more "intense" pace. The delightful beach of Punda is characterized by sand, while from the north side of the beach (at the little port of Punda) you will take the ferry and in about 7 minutes (distance of 1 mile) you have already reached the nearby Antiparos!

Naoussa

Distance: 22 km

Naoussa is located on the northern side of Paros and is one of the most popular spots on the island. It could be described as a fishing village and, in fact, has the largest fishing fleet in the Cyclades, so... you know where to find good fish! There are many options in taverns, taverns, restaurants, ouzo and places to eat and drink and are combined with a nice view towards the marina of Naoussa.
Here the walks in the picturesque neighborhoods with the old Byzantine houses will be imprinted in your memory forever! The castle built centuries ago by the Venetians will surely enchant you, while the nearby Environmental-Cultural Park of the island is also worth visiting. In addition, in Naoussa there is also an ancient settlement on the hill of Koukounaria.
As for the beaches, there is no shortage of suggestions for a nice swim: Kolymbithres, Laggeri, Monastiri, Santa Maria, Piperaki and Piperi are some of them.

Parikia

Distance: 11 km

Parikia is the capital of Paros. Here, at the port, the "heart" of the island beats, as you will find everything you are looking for! The market of Parikia is located on the main street of Lochagos Fokianos: you are in the right place for shopping and strolling in an atmospheric district with Venetian mansions. Particularly lively is the beach street with palm trees, where you will have great suggestions for food, coffee and drinks. In general, in the city there are many options in entertainment and selected tastes, both for groups and for families.
The trademark of Parikia is the mills on the hill of Agia Anna, while the town also has a captivating Venetian castle: entering the ancient market you will be transported to times of the past. You will, of course, not miss to visit Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the most famous Greek churches! Most Services, Banks, as well as the Health Center are located in Parikia.

Antiparos island

Since you arrived in Paros, you must also visit Antiparos! In the past the two islands were connected, while now their distance is less than 1 nautical mile. Thus, by taking the ferry boat from Pounta, you will enjoy Antiparos in just 8 minutes! Certainly the popular Antiparos will charm you with its representative architecture of the Cyclades, and its neighborhoods full of bougainvillea.
The main settlement of Antiparos is in the northeast, while other settlements are the resort of Ai-Giorgis in the southwest, Kampos and Soros.
In Antiparos you will have your fill of moments on the many very clean beaches: the closest ones are Agios Spyridonas which is characterized by its shallow waters and is also ideal for families, Sifneikos Gialos which is located behind the island's castle and the three Psaralykes, one of which is "equipped" with a beach bar. In addition, there is a good road network for Agios Sostis, Apantima, Despotiko and the beaches at Livadia and Faneromeni.
Finally, it is worth visiting the Venetian Castle, as well as the special Cave of Antiparos.

Beaches

In Paros, you will only worry about where to dive for the first time, as the many beaches are beautiful! Shall we start from Kolymbithres? This popular paradise with clear blue waters and golden sand is made up of three beaches that are "embraced" by rocks. Another beach, with white sand and emerald waters, is Santa Maria. Soon, we also reach the smaller Mikri Santa Maria, with tavernas for food. Farangas is an idyllically beautiful windless beach, while Marcelo is a good suggestion for swimming with the family, but also for sea sports. Also, Aliki, Glyfa and Livadia have all the required infrastructure. As for the Monastery, it combines quietness with luxury!
Agia Irini is located near Parikia, a beach that looks like an oasis thanks to the palm trees. Beautiful, but unorganized is Laggeri, while Kalogeros offers a calm bath combined with... renewal, thanks to its clayey sand.

Villages of Paros
