Paros Island

Paros is one of the largest and most popular islands of the Aegean!
If you take the ferry to reach Paros, you will logically reach Parikia, one of the largest settlements and at the same time the main port of the island. The busy Naoussa is also a natural port.
Paros is a particularly "lively" island which, however, can satisfy the needs of visitors, both for intense entertainment and for more calm and "private" holidays: In Naoussa there are many nightclubs. For a quiet drink, one can approach either its old port or the coastal road of Parikia.
In Paros you will enjoy the walks in the neighborhoods with the Cycladic "color", while you will also see many sights. Among them stand out the castle built by the Franks in Parikia, the Venetian castle in Naoussa and the famous Panagia Ekatontapyliani. In addition, it is worth seeing the butterfly habitat in Psychopiana, the Mycenaean acropolis in Koukounaries, the Museum of Cycladic Folklore in Aliki, and the Folklore Museum of Naoussa.
Also, here you will enjoy your baths both in organized and more secluded beaches. Some are characterized by pebbles and others by sand, but all are beautiful!
Finally, during your stay in Paros, look for the delicious local flavors: chickpeas, caravoli (snails), octopus with handmade Parian pilaf, but also myzithropitas and mustokoulours will add another flavor to your vacation!
